About Us
We are a family company helping a New York City tradition come to life. Horse carriage rides are a historical tradition in NYC. Before the city was populated with tall building and narrow streets, people were using horse carriages as a means of transportation from Downtown Manhattan to Central Park. Nowadays, it has become a special experience mostly involving carriage rides in Central Park. We do, however, have some evening rides that go into the city after a certain time at night, as well as Christmas rides during the holidays. All our drivers are licensed local guides who provide live commentary throughout the ride. Enjoy the tranquility of traveling across Central Park on a horse-drawn carriage while your driver informs you about many historical landmarks in the park and the parts of the city surrounding it.
What People Are Saying About Our Five-Star Rides
We really enjoyed the carriage ride with NYC Adventures. They helped coordinate the ride and everything worked seamlessly. We enjoyed the view of the park and learned about it. I suggest that every New Yorker and visitor of New York try this at least once. It is a great way to enjoy the park and the city.

If you are in New York and wonder what to do to make your visit worthwhile, go ahead with this ride. After riding through Central Park Park, we found ourselves on the famous 5th Ave of iconic buildings. After seeing the Rockefeller buildings, we saw Times Square, which was truly incredible. Can you imagine riding on a horse carriage at Times Square in the evening? Well, we did it! It was a great experience.

Words cannot describe experiencing the scenery of Central Park from atop a carriage ride. It felt like being in a movie. Don't miss this if you are visiting NYC! It worked out pretty easily for us. Met them at the corner of 6th Ave and 59th street and had a fairy tale ride across one of the world's most iconic parks.

I booked a VIP Central Park Carriage Tour during a trip with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and everything about it was flawless. Our driver contacted us before the ride and he was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting- he took great photos of us too! We both really enjoyed the experience. I've since recommended NYC Adventure's carriage rides to some friends, and I think I may do it again myself!
